One cost-effective protection against corrosion is simple to increase the calculated diameter by 2-5 mm. This normally gives the required design life when анкерные тяги are located underground. The threads of hot-dip galvanized анкерные тяги can be slightly undercut so that part of the galvanizing coat remains on the threaded ends after re-cutting. Unavoidable defects must be cold-reworked, if necessary.

Threads must be protected very carefully before sand- blasting and cleaned intensively afterwards!
